How do you make a listing Reel from the photos you already have?

By Brian Jones, co-founder, engineering and Talyn Jones, co-founder, product, Frameworthy.

Upload the listing photos, order the rooms, and the walkthrough comes back in three cuts, including a vertical 9:16 for Reels and Stories. Each photo becomes a short moving shot, framed for a phone screen, with your branding burned in. Post the 9:16 the day the photos go live, with a one-line disclosure in the caption.

Why does a Reel need its own cut?

A 16:9 video posted vertically shows a thin band of house between two black bars, and the feed scrolls past it. The 9:16 cut reframes each shot for the tall screen: the kitchen island fills the frame, the staircase reads top to bottom, the headline sits where a thumb is not covering it.

That is why the three cuts are part of the price and not an add-on. The 16:9 goes on the listing and to the seller, the 9:16 goes to Reels, Stories and TikTok, and the 1:1 goes in the feed.

What should a listing Reel show?

The approach, the entry, the kitchen and the one room that sells the house, in that order, in under a minute. The full walkthrough runs longer; for the Reel, post the whole 9:16 cut or trim it in the app to the first few rooms. Either way the first three seconds should be the exterior or the best room, not a title card.

Keep the caption short: the city, the beds and baths, the price if your brokerage allows it, and the disclosure line. The tour link goes in your bio or a Story sticker, since a Reel caption link is not tappable.

How does the branding work on a vertical cut?

A saved brand adds your name, brokerage and logo to all three cuts, placed for each ratio so the mark is not hidden under the Reels controls. Set it once on the branding page and every tour after that carries it.

What do you have to say about AI in the caption?

One sentence: the motion was generated from the listing photographs. Put it in the caption so a buyer who never leaves the app still knows, and keep the same line on the listing remarks.

Questions

Is there sound?

The cuts are delivered silent by design, so you can add a trending audio or a voiceover in the app without fighting a baked-in track.

Can I get only the 9:16?

You get all three cuts for one price. Post whichever you need; the others are there when the seller asks for the listing version.

Which photos make the best Reel?

Bright, straight-on shots from the doorway of each room, the same ones that work for the full walkthrough. Tall rooms and staircases look especially good in 9:16.
